DC Motors

A DC motor is any of a class of rotary electrical machines that converts direct current electrical energy into mechanical energy. The most common types rely on the forces produced by magnetic fields. Nearly all types of DC motors have some internal mechanism, either electromechanical or electronic, to periodically change the direction of current flow in part of the motor.

Low Voltage AC Motors

Our low voltage motor products cover a performance range from 0.09 to 4000 kW. Advantages of our AC motor systems are many: they are highly efficient with a positive energy balance; they come with explosion protection to meet high safety standards; and they conform to IEC or NEMA standards.

Motors for explosive atmospheres

The ATEX Directives harmonize safety rules in line with the free trading principles of the European Community.

NEMA Low Voltage AC Motors

Designed and built with reliability and lowest total cost of ownership at the forefront, motors meet or exceed NEMA energy-efficiency levels. Motors are available from stock or can be designed to fit specific applications ranging from general purpose to the harshest environments worldwide.

Motor Spare Parts

Especially in the low and medium voltage ranges, motors are often an important part of the main system components. Their dependability is essential for reliable plant operation. Optimum availability of spare parts is an equally important factor in minimizing downtimes.
